The Bryan Family Farm

About Us

For us, farming has become a way of life. In 2013, we moved to our home farm, where the grass and weeds were overgrown.

To manage this, we purchased four cows—one for ourselves and three to sell or share with friends and family. Since then, we have continued to grow.

Our beef cattle graze on nearly 1,400 acres of pristine land covered in nutrient-dense grass here in Kelowna. Our herd is free-range for most of the year, only being brought in for sorting and calving season to ensure their safety.

Quality has always been our primary focus. As our operation expanded, we realized the need for greater assurance of the quality of feed we were using. Consequently, we began cutting all of our own hay. Raising cattle was a natural choice for us

When we acquired our farm in 2013, our five children were between the ages of three and nine. Together, we have learned all aspects of beef farming—from purchasing our first cows at auction to assisting with calving and bottle-raising orphaned calves.

We have experienced both great highs and challenging lows, always emphasizing the importance of local food, food security, sustainability, and land stewardship.

We now hope to share the fruits of our labour with you.
